About The Position

VCA Stafford Oaks Animal Hospital is hiring an Associate Veterinarian to provide comprehensive veterinary care for cats and dogs, with a mix of wellness and sick-patient cases. The full-service hospital is equipped with technology including Ligasure, surgical and therapeutic lasers, ultrasound, and in-house bloodwork. The team includes three Licensed Veterinary Technicians and emphasizes fear-free techniques when possible, collaborative care, and a supportive culture. Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and receive dedicated mentorship.

The full-time schedule is four days per week with a rotating Saturday. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The role offers opportunities for continuing education and participation in a Clinical Studies program.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
• Texas licensure in good standing to practice, or the ability to obtain it.
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
