About The Position

Lowcountry Vets at our Argent location in Ridgeland, South Carolina is seeking a holistic-focused Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This practice emphasizes integrative, whole-patient medicine, incorporating modalities such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition-based care, chiropractic, and rehabilitation alongside conventional approaches. The ideal candidate will share a philosophy of compassionate, high-quality veterinary care that considers the full picture of an animal's health and well-being, including body, mind, environment, and nutrition.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Active and unrestricted South Carolina veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Training, certification, or demonstrated interest in holistic and integrative veterinary medicine (e.g., CVMA, CVSMT, CIVT, herbal medicine, rehabilitation, or nutritional therapy)
• A whole-patient philosophy and genuine commitment to individualized care
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit

• Deliver comprehensive integrative and conventional veterinary care for companion animals
• Apply holistic modalities alongside standard diagnostics and treatment protocols
