About The Position

CityVet South Austin is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative, doctor-led team. The clinic is owned and led by Dr. Shannon VanDyke, who has extensive experience in soft tissue surgery, emergency care, and holistic therapies. Dr. VanDyke has cultivated a high-energy environment that prioritizes collaborative care and a positive experience for both patients and staff. This role offers mentorship, a balanced schedule with rotating weekends, and the opportunity to treat complex cases in a modern facility. The position is designed for a full-time or part-time Associate DVM interested in general practice, with a strong emphasis on surgery and dentistry. The hospital is equipped for advanced diagnostics and surgical care, featuring 5 exam rooms, a large treatment area, and a private surgical suite.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
• Licensed to practice in this state or eligible for licensure.
• A collaborative spirit and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
• Interest in General Practice and/or Urgent Care medicine.
• Strong knowledge and experience with surgery and dentistry.
• Open to working a flexible schedule with rotating weekends.
• Confident working with complex cases.
• Thrives in a collaborative, creative, high-energy environment.
