About The Position

DVM Focus is recruiting an Associate Veterinarian for an established small animal practice in the Chicago metro area. This opportunity offers a diverse general practice caseload, collaborative veterinary support, mentorship, and flexibility for doctors at different stages of their careers. New graduates and experienced veterinarians are both encouraged to explore the opportunity. This opportunity brings together a broad GP caseload, schedule flexibility, mentorship, and an experienced team in one of the country’s largest veterinary markets. For a newer DVM, there is support to continue building confidence across medicine and surgery. For an experienced veterinarian, there is room to bring established skills while maintaining the autonomy and quality of life that can matter just as much as compensation.

Requirements

• DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree
• Active Illinois veterinary license or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary medicine
• Interest in continued learning and professional development
