About The Position

DVM Focus is recruiting an Associate Veterinarian for an established small animal practice in the Columbia metro area. This opportunity offers a broad companion animal caseload, flexible scheduling, mentorship, and an experienced team committed to collaborative patient care. New graduates and experienced veterinarians are both encouraged to explore the opportunity. This opportunity offers the breadth of general practice with the support and flexibility to keep growing without feeling boxed into one style of medicine. For a newer veterinarian, there is mentorship and a varied caseload to help build confidence. For an experienced DVM, there is room to bring established strengths while maintaining autonomy and continuing to develop professionally.

Requirements

• DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree
• Active South Carolina veterinary license or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary medicine
• Interest in continued learning and professional development
