About The Position

DVM Focus is recruiting an Associate Veterinarian for an established small animal practice in the Jackson metro area. This opportunity offers a broad general practice caseload, experienced team support, flexible scheduling, mentorship, and room to continue developing your clinical interests. Experienced veterinarians and newer DVMs are both encouraged to explore the opportunity. This role offers a solid mix of general practice medicine, schedule flexibility, and team support. For a newer DVM, there is mentorship and room to keep building confidence across medicine, surgery, and dentistry. For an experienced veterinarian, there is the ability to bring established skills while maintaining autonomy and work-life balance.

Requirements

• DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree
• Active Mississippi veterinary license or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication and client-service skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality medicine
• Interest in continued clinical and professional development
