About The Position

The Associate Vertical Account Manager acquires and grows revenue within established Commercial Insurance accounts using a total-solution strategic approach. The role supports insurance carrier product underwriting and actuarial teams with tools and solutions to understand markets, evaluate risk, and make data-driven decisions. This is a home-based role, preferably located in the Eastern or Central time zones, with travel required up to 10%. Compensation varies by location and includes base pay and variable pay; the posting lists location-specific base pay and total target cash ranges. The application deadline is 11/30/2026.

Requirements

Prior sales or account management experience.

Responsibilities

Evaluate existing customer relationships and identify growth opportunities within selected solution sets.
Manage customer roadmap retention plans and actions to protect base revenue.
Establish and maintain customer relationships at all levels, serving as a liaison between sales support and customers to provide service and solutions.
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue objectives and oversee forecasting activities.
Demonstrate understanding of selected Commercial Insurance products and solutions, present them to customers, and articulate their value.
Follow up on inbound leads, conduct outbound outreach, and develop new sales opportunities to support account growth.
Manage customer objections, set realistic expectations, negotiate pricing and contracts, and close sales.
