Brandeis University is seeking an Associate University Librarian for Archives and Special Collections. This role provides strategic direction, development, and execution of the vision for the University Archives & Special Collections Department. The position is responsible for the development, administration, operations, and coordination of University Archives, Special Collections, University Records Management, and Preservation. The Associate University Librarian directs approximately 7 staff members who engage with the campus and larger scholarly communities to advance the academic and institutional mission of the university. This role also supervises staff teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels and works closely with institutional advancement to cultivate donors and apply for grants. As a member of the senior administrative team, the Associate University Librarian contributes to library-wide planning and the shaping of strategic directions for the Library.
