About The Position

The Associate, Trade Operations works with a group of subject matter experts to provide operational support to hedge fund clients using a range of investment strategies and asset classes. The role sets up and maintains daily client trade feeds to support middle- and back-office deliverables, coordinates with internal departments to maintain client service levels, and assists with client onboarding. It also collaborates with support and development teams to improve trade capture and security origination workflows and participates in testing platform enhancements and automation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
Prior experience with various financial products.
Solid knowledge of MS Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work within a group toward a shared goal or task.

Responsibilities

Provide operational support to hedge fund clients engaged in a variety of investment strategies, including Private Equity, Global Macro, Fixed Income, Mortgage, Credit, Distressed, Long/Short, Risk/Stat/Arbitrage, Emerging Markets, and Fund of Funds.
Set up and maintain daily client trade feeds supporting middle- and back-office deliverables for products including equity, fixed income, swaps, bank debt, contracts for differences, futures, commodities, options, FX, mortgages, and repos.
Interact with internal GlobeOp departments, including Fund Accounting, reconciliations, valuations, Investor Services, and IT, to maintain high client service levels.
Collaborate with functional teams to onboard new clients and ensure trade delivery follows best practices.
Work with support and development teams to enhance trade capture and security origination workflows.
Participate in testing technology development and system enhancements to increase efficiency, functionality, and process automation.
