Well the TGRP program is looking for our future tech talent to join the team! As an Associate in the Technology Graduate Rotational Program (TGRP), you will be part of a dynamic full-time, fast-paced 24-month rotation program within Technology. You’ll have the opportunity to move through three 8-month rotations that will offer you the chance to hone your technical, communication and interpersonal skills while developing your knowledge of CIBC's dynamic Technology line of businesses. As a TGRP Associate, you will join CIBC with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience through your rotations as one of the following: AI Scientist Application Developer Business System Analyst Cloud Engineer At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Requirements

  • You have graduated in the last year or are expected to graduate before September 2027 from a post-secondary institution.
  • You have previous co-op experience with CIBC in the last year.
  • You can demonstrate technical skills such as Cloud Engineering, Application development, Data & AI, and/or Process Engineering and can understand software life cycles (agile) and are proficient in MS-office suite of tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
  • You enjoy collaborating with a team to come up with innovative solutions to a problem that will make a difference today and tomorrow and are able to establish partnerships across teams to get your work done.
  • You notice things that others don't. Your critical thinking skills help to inform your decision making.
  • You bring your real self to work and you live our values - trust, teamwork, and accountability.
  • You need to be legally eligible to work at the location(s) specified above and, where applicable, must have a valid work or study permit.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, deploying and supporting business applications and utilities.
  • Formulate solution scope and objectives to meet the business need and validate requirements, testing, training and implementation of applications.
  • Develop and execute test plans for functional system integration and acceptance testing.
  • Ensure project control procedures and policies within a number of unrelated large projects are executed.
  • Designing and implementing improvements to internal processes making it easier for teams to do their work.
  • Analyzing business opportunities and presenting recommendations to address through analysis, reporting and research.
