Associate Technician - Service Repair

About The Position

As an Associate Technician - Service Repair, you will ensure the service and repair department is properly equipped to perform daily requirements in an efficient manner. You will perform trial runs of equipment to ensure performance rates and quality meet established specifications and is in ready use condition. You will expedite and follow up with customers relating to service/repair orders. You may travel to customer locations.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License, with a satisfactory driving record required
• High school degree or equivalent required
• 1 year required, 2 years preferred of service and repair experience
• 1 year required, 2 years preferred of customer service experience
• Strong attention to detail required
• Ability to calibrate precise measurements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods

Nice To Haves

• Certificate or license in WHMIS, TDG or forklift operations preferred

Responsibilities

• Follow service and repair procedure log
• Enter rental and repair orders in distribution system
• Expedite orders and follow up with customers relating to service orders
• Conduct in-house or on-site DOP testing
• Conduct respiratory fit testing service either in-house or at customer’s site
• Duties include Counter Desk Help, shipping and receiving
