EBI is seeking a full-time Associate Technical Director to support and help lead our Archaeology and Cultural Resources practice. Working closely with the Technical Director, this role will promote technical excellence, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and operational efficiency across archaeological projects. The Associate Technical Director will provide technical leadership and mentorship to staff, support business development and client engagement efforts, and assist with the continued growth of the archaeology practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience managing cultural resource projects under federal, state, and local regulatory frameworks; advanced knowledge of archaeological investigations and reporting requirements; a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical work products; and demonstrated success managing multiple projects and staff concurrently. This position is primarily office-based, with occasional travel for field visits, client meetings, industry conferences, training events, and professional presentations. This position reports to the Technical Director and is a work from home position, with the potential for infrequent travel. Candidates must already have an established home office and able to thrive in this environment to be considered.
