About The Position

The Associate Support Specialist, IT Field Services will report to the Manager, IT Field Services and will be responsible for providing IT support for computer hardware, software, network and security systems at our Corpus Christi LNG Terminal (CCL) and surrounding locations.

Requirements

  • Initial knowledge of: Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products.
  • Windows System Administration.
  • Windows Active Directory Administration.
  • Cisco network switch and router configuration including TCP/IP fundamentals.
  • Service desk ticketing systems.
  • Xerox copiers and HP printer support.
  • Antivirus and malware detection and removal.
  • Audio Visual systems including projectors, televisions, phones, and conferencing services.
  • Two-way radio support and public-address systems fundamentals.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Desire to learn new skills. High degree of motivation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work outside of normal workdays and standard office hours.
  • Must maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing status.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with structured cabling concepts and server hardware installation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Setup and maintain new and existing computer hardware and software, printers, and copiers.
  • Supports local server room, server equipment and network equipment.
  • Provide computer and software problem solving and training for end-users.
  • Provide and maintain documentation on IT systems, network diagrams and configurations.
  • Provide ticket resolution and implement changes to the environment using the IT Change Control Process.
  • Deploy and support Cisco VOIP phones and mobile devices.
  • Support Genetec security ACS and CCTV equipment.
  • Manage and maintain user accounts in Active Directory.
  • Deploy network switches to support client network connectivity at site.
  • Manage and deploy two-way radio communications systems.
  • Setup, maintain and troubleshoot audio visual and conferencing systems.
