About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role involves coordinating activities to facilitate the quick return to service for emergent customer requirements (e.g., AOG - Aircraft On Ground). The specialist will enter, track, monitor, and coordinate customer material and delivery requirements for emergent escalations, advising customers on order status and changes. A key aspect of the role is acting as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders to resolve customer hard-grounded aircraft situations, reviewing engineering data for alternate solutions, and supporting suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plans. The position also involves collecting and processing supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services, including repair capabilities and capacity, and assessing customer escalations to formulate problem resolutions. The role requires using multiple Boeing systems in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing and high-stress conditions, managing multiple deadlines, and demonstrating self-driven initiative within a team setting.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience working in Supply Chain related role
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment while being able to meet strict deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the activities required to facilitate the quick return to service for emergent customer requirements (e.g. AOG).
  • Enter, track, monitor and coordinate customer material, delivery requirements for emergent escalations.
  • Advise customers regarding order status, changes or improvements on Customer Escalation.
  • Act as a liaison communicating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and drive a solution to support customer hard grounded aircraft situation.
  • Review and decipher engineering data for alternate problem resolution.
  • Support suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plan.
  • Assist in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities and capacity.
  • Act as a liaison with multiple stakeholders to accomplish a common objective.
  • Assess and analyze customer escalations and formulate problem resolutions.
  • Use multiple Boeing systems in a fast-paced environment for Customer Escalation requirements.
  • Adapt in a fast-changing and high-stress work environment.
  • Manage multiple concurrent deadlines.
  • Be self-driven and able to ask questions in a team environment.
