Associate Supply Chain Specialist
About The Position
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Mesa, AZ. This role involves managing customer material orders and delivery requirements, responding to inquiries, coordinating problem resolution, and collecting/processing supplier and customer data. The specialist will also assist in stakeholder engagement for integrated strategies, execute supply chain operations by balancing inventory, supply orders, and demand, and support performance and relationship management to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability, and in-service performance. Additionally, the role includes initiating supplier improvement activities and providing results for contracting strategies.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience working in Supply Chain Management
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft office suite
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Nice To Haves
- 2 + years of experience and/or knowledge of Basic Supply Chain principles
- Bachelor's degree or higher education and/or 4+ years of experience in a related field
- Experience and/or proficiency with Oracle or SQL
- Experience with the Boeing Government On-Line Data (GOLD) computer system
Responsibilities
- Enters, tracks, monitors and coordinates customer material orders and delivery requirements
- Responds to customer inquiries for spare parts requirements and coordinates delivery problem resolution
- Assists in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data and/or information regarding delivery of spare parts, kits and provisioning products or services
- Assists with engagement with stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, possible negotiation and contracting strategies
- Assists in execution of the supply chain, balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand
- Assists in performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance
- Initiates supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies
