About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role involves coordinating activities to facilitate the quick return to service for emergent customer requirements (e.g., AOG), entering, tracking, monitoring, and coordinating customer material and delivery requirements for emergent escalations. The specialist will advise customers on order status, changes, or improvements related to customer escalations and act as a liaison communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve customer hard grounded aircraft situations. The role also includes reviewing and deciphering engineering data for alternate problem resolution, supporting suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plans, and assisting in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services, including repair capabilities and capacity. The specialist will assess and analyze customer escalations, formulate problem resolutions, and utilize multiple Boeing systems in a fast-paced environment. Adaptability in a fast-changing, high-stress environment, the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines, and a self-driven attitude with the ability to ask questions in a team environment are essential.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience working in Supply Chain related role
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the activities required to facilitate the quick return to service for emergent customer requirements (e.g. AOG).

  • Act as a liaison with multiple stakeholders to accomplish a common objective.
