About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Sales Associate for our Structured Products Sales team responsible for the distribution of Fixed Income Products to our Asset Backed Finance Sales investor base. In this role, you will maintain a daily dialogue/relationship with the investor base, proactively work to strengthen client relationships, and provide ideas, research, and market information to facilitate trading activity. You will actively engage the trading desk and their axes to facilitate trading, build strong relationships with internal business partners, and travel frequently to clients, client meetings, and client conferences. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and the ability to perform under pressure with high motivation and energy, multitasking effectively.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Securities Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for FINRA SIE must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire.
  • Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a daily dialogue/relationship with the investor base; proactively work to strengthen client relationships
  • Proactively provide ideas, research, and market information to facilitate trading activity between Wells Fargo and our investor base
  • Actively engage the trading desk and their axes to facilitate trading between Wells Fargo and the investor base
  • Aggressively build strong relationships and mutual trust with internal business partners, including other sales people, banking, traders, research, syndicate, and management, to enhance client relationships
  • Travel frequently to clients, client meetings, and client conferences
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and perform under pressure with high motivation and energy; multitask effectively
