About The Position

This role involves the structural analysis of aircraft modifications, providing design support, and preparing technical documentation to ensure airworthiness. The position requires determining stress levels in primary and secondary aircraft structure, systems, and equipment resulting from applied and induced loads. It also involves comparing these stresses with material properties to predict failure and structural instabilities, considering applicable failure theories.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field.
  • Alternatively, have completed a Bachelor's degree within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis of aircraft modifications.
  • Provide design support for aircraft modifications.
  • Prepare technical documentation necessary to ensure airworthiness.
  • Determine stress levels in primary and secondary aircraft structure, systems, and equipment resulting from applied and induced loads.
  • Compare stresses with material properties to predict failure and structural instabilities, considering applicable failure theories.
