Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited college or university, with a baccalaureate, master's, or doctoral degree in civil/ structural engineering, naval architect, or mechanical engineering with 0-5 years of experience
- Good academic standing as established by your college or university
- Experience in design of offshore structures
Responsibilities
- Participating in design and analysis of the offshore floating production or drilling units, such as semisubmersibles and FPSO’s
- Calculate wind and hydrodynamic loading for offshore floating structures
- Define load conditions and check the stability
- Strength, fatigue and buckling assessment of stiffened plating structures
- Utilize DNV SESAM software suite to perform the structural and hydrodynamic analysis
- Utilize FEA software to do structural analysis of offshore hull structures
- Writing technical reports
