About The Position

The Associate Structural Engineer is responsible for structural design and analysis for projects in the onshore oil and gas, LNG, and renewables industries. Project deliverables may include structures, piperacks, modules, and foundations. Work may span conceptual studies, FEEDs, estimates, detailed design, and construction support.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Good academic background.
• Familiarity with civil and structural engineering codes and standards such as IBC, ACI, AISC, and ASCE.
• Strong communication skills and professional ethics.

Nice To Haves

• EIT Certification.
• Familiarity with civil and structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic civil and structural design and analysis for assigned project deliverables.
• Prepare and check calculations.
• Support material requisitions and subcontract scopes of work.
• Support technical bid evaluations and supplier document reviews.
• Identify potential changes and track engineering quantities against budget.
• Provide schedule and progress updates for assigned scope.
• Coordinate with supporting offices.
• Support construction.
