About The Position

The Dasher & Logistics team ensures every delivery is completed with speed, accuracy, and a positive experience for consumers, merchants, and Dashers. We own the health of our delivery marketplace — including cost, quality, efficiency, fulfillment, and sustainable growth. Within this organization, the Canada team owns end-end marketplace performance for the country. We partner closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, Marketing, and Operations to operate and improve one of DoorDash’s most dynamic and complex markets. We're hiring an Associate, Strategy & Operations to support Dasher supply and delivery quality efforts across Canadian markets. This role sits at the intersection of operational execution and marketplace health, and helps ensure the right number of quality Dashers are available to meet demand reliably across geographies and conditions. You will help execute supply strategies set by the broader team, supporting Dasher acquisition, mobilization, and retention efforts to maintain a healthy and high-performing supply base. You will support key supply levers, including onboarding pipelines, retention programs, and regional coverage tracking. Your work will require a working understanding of what drives Dasher behavior and engagement, and how to help run programs that attract and retain quality Dashers at the right time and place. Success in this role means reliably executing against supply frameworks that help meet demand while maintaining strong delivery quality, even as market conditions, seasonality, and external factors shift. You will support structured analyses to help identify supply gaps, assist in diagnosing root causes, and contribute to improvements in coverage and quality across geographies. You will report into a Manager of Strategy & Operations. We expect this role to be hybrid with some time in-office and some time remote.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, technology, finance, or a related field
  • Supported operational areas or projects, with exposure to quality and performance metrics
  • Highly analytical and comfortable using data and AI tools to help diagnose issues, organize priorities, and track impact
  • Experience or coursework/internships in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with multiple competing priorities
  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and communicating clearly to support stakeholder decisions

Responsibilities

  • Own Dasher supply health across Canadian markets, managing across acquisition, mobilization, and retention to ensure demand is reliably met with strong quality
  • Diagnose and close supply gaps across regions, using data to identify root causes and deploy targeted interventions across different market conditions
  • Design and optimize programs that attract and retain quality Dashers, understanding what drives engagement and how to sustain a healthy supply base over time
  • Manage supply across varying operating conditions including weather, local events, and seasonal demand shifts, balancing short-term actions with longer-term planning
  • Lead rigorous, data-driven analyses to measure supply performance, model the impact of program changes, and surface clear recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Analytics, Legal, and Operations to align on supply strategy and deliver shared outcomes
  • Make thoughtful tradeoff decisions between supply adequacy, delivery quality, and cost to protect long-term marketplace health
