About The Position

Reporting to the Director, Strategy and Corporate Development, The Associate will help manage the integration work plan, drive follow-up across teams, prepare executive updates, and ensure key commercial, operational, technology, legal, and client-facing workstreams stay on track. As integration milestones are completed, the role will transition into a broader Strategy & Operations position supporting business management, organic growth initiatives, corporate development activities, cross-functional strategic execution, and other high-priority initiatives across the organization. The role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, effective in meetings, resourceful, and comfortable operating across senior stakeholders without direct line management authority.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of professional experience, ideally within a top-tier management consulting firm or a corporate strategy group.
  • Exceptional capability to facilitate complex meetings, manage senior stakeholders, and build consensus across different corporate cultures.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and a proven ability to manage multifaceted projects.
  • Must be a self-starter who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and possesses a "get-it-done" mentality.
  • Skilled at drafting executive-level communications, including slide-writing and progress reporting.
  • BA/BS degree.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day execution of the integration of the newly acquired index business into TMX VettaFi and TMX Group.
  • Help keep key commercial, operational, technology, legal, finance, and client-facing workstreams organized and moving forward.
  • Act as the central project manager for the integration process.
  • Build and maintain integration work plans, track key milestones, monitor dependencies, and ensure timely execution across business units (e.g., technology, operations, legal, sales).
  • Support initiatives tied to revenue growth, client retention, pricing, pipeline discipline, sales process improvement, product commercialization, and management reporting.
  • Act as a resource to the Director of Strategy & Corporate Development, supporting broader business management, corporate development initiatives, and strategic execution as needed.
  • Navigate effectively across the organization without direct line authority to drive alignment, resolve roadblocks, and foster collaboration between legacy VettaFi teams, the TMX parent organization, and the newly acquired business.
  • Prepare dashboards, status updates, leadership materials, and presentations for the TMX VettaFi President and senior leadership team.
  • Summarize progress, key risks, decisions needed, and next steps clearly.
