About The Position

The Associate Strategy and Innovation Analyst is responsible for supporting organization-wide evaluations and analysis of County programs, services, and operations. The success of Mecklenburg County rests on strong, competent talent at all levels of the organization. The County Manager’s Office is responsible for executing the policy decisions of the Board of County Commissioners and leading the County organization by overseeing the administration of County departments. Requirements

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in public administration or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficient in various computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Valid North Carolina or South Carolina Driver's License

Responsibilities

  • Participate on team projects, such as the annual Employee Climate Survey and Community Survey, conducting analysis of the data to support the team efforts
  • Work independently and with the Office of Strategy and Innovation team to assist departments with the development and monitoring of program scorecards, based on the Balanced Scorecard framework
  • Work independently and with the Office of Strategy and Innovation team on the annual performance review cycle that consists of conducting analysis of data and contextual information
  • Contribute to the evaluations of various programs and services commonly known as program evaluations
  • Assist the Office of Strategy and Innovation team with other various special projects
