POSITION SUMMARY The Associate Strategy and Innovation Analyst is responsible for supporting organization-wide evaluations and analysis of County programs, services, and operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in public administration or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Combination of relevant education and relevant experience accepted.
  • Proficient in various computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Perform statistical analysis
  • Conducting research
  • Report writing
  • Data management and visualization
  • Communication – Clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
  • Collaboration – Working effectively and cooperatively with others; establishing and maintaining good working relationships.
  • Initiating Action – Taking prompt action to accomplish objectives; taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required; being proactive.

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Participate on team projects, such as the annual Employee Climate Survey and Community Survey, conducting analysis of the data to support the team efforts
  • Work independently and with the Office of Strategy and Innovation team to assist departments with the development and monitoring of program scorecards, based on the Balanced Scorecard framework
  • Work independently and with the Office of Strategy and Innovation team on the annual performance review cycle that consists of conducting analysis of data and contextual information
  • Contribute to the evaluations of various programs and services commonly known as program evaluations
  • Assist the Office of Strategy and Innovation team with other various special projects
