About The Position

Presidio is seeking a motivated, energetic Associate Solutions Architect to join its Michigan presales team and support its customer base. This customer-facing role serves as an associate technical resource for presales engineering, enabling solutions from multiple technology providers. The Associate Solutions Architect collaborates with customers, account managers, fellow solutions architects, vendors, and other teams to support sales strategies, grow the pipeline, and position solutions.

The role involves gathering and analyzing customer requirements, developing technical solutions, creating solution diagrams, researching technical issues, answering questions about products and technologies, and preparing presentations, status updates, and documentation throughout the sales cycle. The position also supports technical campaigns and go-to-market efforts, contributes to consistent presales processes, and helps resolve presales challenges while maintaining customer satisfaction. The position requires up to 50% travel onsite in Detroit, Michigan.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of data center technologies such as Cisco UCS, Dell, and Pure.
• Basic knowledge of core networking, including IP, subnetting, routing, and VPN.
• Strong passion for continuous learning, professional development, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Proactive, self-driven mindset focused on customer success and collaboration.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in designs, quotes, and documentation.
• Responsive and timely communication with customers, account teams, and partners.
• Clear, professional communication skills and ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
• At least 1 year designing and implementing complex data center and networking solutions.
• At least 1 year of experience working with mid-market and/or enterprise environments.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of storage vendors in addition to Pure.

Responsibilities

• Act as an associate technical resource for solutions in presales engagements.
• Contribute to sales strategies and support customer-facing efforts.
• Stay current with technology trends, products, and industry best practices through training, webinars, and collaboration with national practices.
• Create solution diagrams, collect and analyze customer requirements data, and perform other presales activities supporting engineering initiatives.
• Research technical issues and answer customer questions about products, technologies, solutions, and OEM partner offerings.
• Follow standardized processes and workflows to ensure the quality and consistency of presales deliverables.
• Collaborate with team members to provide solutions for Presidio customers.
• Work in a focused and directed manner to improve productivity and efficiency across the presales team.
• Participate in customer and sales team meetings to gather technical requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions.
• Assist in resolving presales challenges and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Deliver client-facing status updates, presentations, and documentation throughout the sales cycle.
• Work collaboratively with Presidio, vendors, and other key teams to drive opportunities.
• Help build and develop the sales pipeline through technical campaign support and go-to-market efforts.
