About The Position

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking an Associate, Software Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance large-scale distributed software systems. Own all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) to build new features. Write high quality and maintainable code, and deploying and running services on Kubernetes. Collaborate with a global cross- functional agile team, and contribute to all agile ceremonies. Monitor, debug, and improve production systems. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study
  • Two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as an Associate, Analyst, or a closely related occupation
  • Two (2) years of experience with Java EE, Spring boot, JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, Angular, and SQL
  • Two (2) years of experience with microservices architecture
  • Two (2) years of experience with RESTful API design and development
  • Two (2) years of experience with Junit, Jasmine, and Git
  • Two (2) years of experience with CI/CD Pipeline
  • Two (2) years of experience with database analysis and design
  • Two (2) years of experience analyzing business requirements and defining the appropriate design with respect to data modeling, configuration, and customization of applications
  • One (1) year of experience with Kubernetes
  • One (1) year of experience with all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) including design, development, testing, deployment, and debugging
  • One (1) year of experience with event-driven architecture
  • One (1) year of experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • One (1) year of experience with Kafka
  • One (1) year of experience with Jenkins
  • One (1) year of experience with Team City
  • One (1) year of experience with code quality analysis tools including SonarQube
  • One (1) year of experience working on a global agile software development team
  • One (1) year of experience with AI Tools including GitHub Co-Pilot for software development
