About The Position

Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. is seeking an Associate, Software Engineer in New York, New York to design and maintain scalable software systems while leveraging AI technologies including LLMs to optimize business processes. Handle end-to-end software workflows. Debug and stabilize software environments and ensure seamless data processing with robust database management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, improve infrastructure, and communicate technical solutions to stakeholders. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
Two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as an Associate Business Analyst, Analyst or a related role
Two (2) years of experience with API integration
Two (2) years of experience with Application enterprise workflows
Two (2) years of experience with Python
Two (2) years of experience with SQL

Nice To Haves

One (1) year of experience with Prompt engineering, including Chain-of-Thought and Few-Shot prompting
One (1) year of experience with Embeddings and vector search, including Redis vector search and FAISS
One (1) year of experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and TeamCity
One (1) year of experience with Distributed messaging frameworks including Apache Kafka
One (1) year of experience with RESTful APIs
One (1) year of experience with Spring Boot within a microservices architecture
One (1) year of experience with Large language models (LLMs) including OpenAI
One (1) year of experience with Java
One (1) year of experience with Monitoring and log analysis using Splunk
