As a Software Engineer Associate within PNC's Retail Tech Employee Chan/Del organization, you will be based in Birmingham, AL or Pittsburgh, PA. PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. Requirements
- Basic programming experience in one or more languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of software development fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms).
- Familiarity with databases and basic SQL.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn vulnerability management processes.
- Ability to help track vulnerability remediation activities and follow up on open items.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to update tracking systems and maintain accurate records.
- Solution oriented mindset with the ability to ask questions, identify blockers, and support next steps.
- Basic understanding of application support, infrastructure, databases, or software development concepts.
- Basic problem solving and analytical skills, with a willingness to learn technical and risk related processes.

Responsibilities
- Assists in the development, testing, and implementation of software solutions.
- Assists with designing software solutions.
- Writes code, tests and deploys software.
- Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
- Maintains and debugs software.
