About The Position

Regeneron is seeking an Associate Scientist to join its Immunology and Inflammation group in Tarrytown, New York. The role supports development of therapeutics for autoimmune disease and contributes to discovery research in immunology, autoimmunity, immune cell biology, and tissue immunity. The position is onsite and involves working closely with a collaborative, cross-organizational team in a fast-growing, science-driven organization.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree in a relevant field.
• 0–2 years of experience in immunology or a related discipline.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A creative approach to problem-solving.
• Open and frequent communication with the manager and team members.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in tissue culture, cell-based assays, flow cytometry, or immunoassays such as ELISA, MSD, or Luminex.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and biological data collection and analysis.
• Experience handling mice.

Responsibilities

• Handle and care for mice, including collecting blood and tissue samples and administering intraperitoneal, intravenous, and subcutaneous injections.
• Process organs to isolate and analyze immune cells.
• Maintain, expand, and/or modulate cells in vitro.
• Evaluate cell phenotypes and function using ex vivo or in vitro assays, including flow cytometry and immunoassays.
• Analyze data using biological and statistical software such as FlowJo, OMIQ, Excel, and Prism.
• Document experimental procedures and results accurately.
• Collaborate closely with teams across the organization.
• Adapt to new techniques and shifting tasks in an innovative, team-driven environment.
