Opportunity for Secondment to AskBio. This role is available for a time period to be determined by leadership at both Bayer and AskBio. While most assignments range from one to two years, the exact duration will be based on business needs and mutual agreement. This secondment offers a unique chance to broaden your experience, expand your knowledge, and contribute meaningfully to AskBio’s mission: to advance gene therapy and change the lives of patients around the world. The Associate Scientist, Clinical Immunology, is one of the key laboratory members who will have an opportunity to contribute to the understanding of AAV Immunogenicity by performing analyses on clinical study samples using immunological assays in support of our gene therapy programs. The Associate Scientist will lead activities in the lab to drive assay development and validation, perform real-time immune assessments of clinical studies, as well as support clinical sample coordination and management. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is looking to build upon his/her experience in Cell Biology and Immunology lab skills as they transition to a more scientific role in solving challenges associated with gene therapy to advance programs through clinical trial stages. Reporting to the Senior Director of Immunology, this position is full-time, on-site, located at our Philadelphia site.
