About The Position
Generate and analyze precise, reliable, and reproducible data in a timely manner under the direction of a more senior scientific leader. The role requires experimental precision and a general understanding of the core discipline. Its impact on projects is predominantly through laboratory and/or pilot plant-based activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in the sciences, or equivalent education.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge to carry out job functions.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of relevant industry experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Follow established experimental protocols and assess results with supervision.
- Recognize and report experimental variances.
- Apply basic scientific principles to research.
- Learn and effectively implement new experimental protocols and techniques.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and, when appropriate, optimize laboratory operations for efficient use of time, supplies, and reagents.
- Consult literature to understand the scientific purpose of assignments.
- Adhere to corporate standards for conduct, safety, material handling, controlled drugs and radioactive compounds, GxP compliance, and animal care where applicable.
