About The Position

The Associate Sales Representative role in the Craniomaxillofacial (CMF) division at Stryker involves working closely with experienced Sales Representatives and Managers to develop clinical and product knowledge, as well as selling styles and techniques. These mentors will share their experiences to help build and grow a successful business. The role requires training and independent study to perform at high levels in operating room environments, interacting with surgeons and healthcare professionals. The position represents Stryker as an industry leader, identifying and promoting solutions and selling products that improve patient lives. The Associate Sales Representative will collaborate with the team to build their own business by acquiring new customers and maintaining relationships with existing ones. They will also assist Sales Representatives in determining necessary resources for customers to achieve sales objectives, including educational programs, product development, and sales strategies. A key aspect is fostering a culture that makes CMF a destination for top performers and a place where careers thrive.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of B2B sales experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Comfortability with adapting to new technology and business advancements.
  • Must be comfortable in emergency and operating room environments.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services (marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, sales control systems).
  • Capacity to deal with competing priorities and potential to be adaptable as days change quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining relationships in the sales capacity.
  • Highly organized and demonstrate ability to organize a busy schedule.
  • Learns from set-backs and develops tactics and strategies to minimize recurrence.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with experienced Sales Representatives and Managers to build knowledge, skill, and comfort with clinical and product knowledge as well as selling styles and techniques.
  • Receive training and study/prepare independently to perform at the highest levels in the operating room, working amongst surgeons and healthcare professionals.
  • Represent Stryker as a leader in the industry and marketplace.
  • Identify and promote solutions and sell products that change patient’s lives.
  • Collaborate with the team to build your own business one customer and account at a time.
  • Identify and prospect new customers as well as continually take care of existing customers.
  • Assist Sales Representatives in determining the necessary resources needed for customers to achieve sales objectives and then execute the plan.
  • Foster a culture and environment that makes CMF a destination for top performers and a place where people’s careers thrive.

Benefits

  • Sales Base/Draw + commission: $70,000-$80,000, and may be eligible to earn commission and/or bonuses
