About The Position

Tris Pharma, Inc. is a leading privately-owned U.S. biopharmaceutical company focusing on the development and commercialization of innovative medicines. With over 150 US and International patents, the company has several marketed products and a robust pipeline in neuroscience and other therapeutic categories. This role is part of an expanding sales force supporting the ADHD portfolio. The National Sales force consists of field-based representatives who act as a direct link between the company and healthcare providers (HCPs) and clients. This is a unique opportunity for an Associate Sales Representative in the Charlotte, NC territory, requiring candidates to live in their assigned territories. Under direct supervision and training from the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and senior sales colleagues, you will join a dynamic sales team promoting Tris Pharma’s ADHD medications. You will gain experience in market development for pediatric and adult settings and pharmaceutical sales, serving as a training ground for future full-line sales positions at Tris Pharma.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher education
  • Demonstrated interest in sales, healthcare or business development with self-motivated/competitive spirit and eagerness to learn
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand and effectively communicate scientific and medical information to external customers
  • Analytical thinking with problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects
  • Valid US drivers license and clean driving record
  • Geographic flexibility and willingness to relocate to specific sales area after completing the training program

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work experience or internships in Business to Business (B2B) sales, recruiting or other customer-facing support service
  • Prior experience in a leadership or leadership development-based role (i.e., industry, collegiate, athletic, military, etc.)
  • Prior experience in a sales or management development program

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, processes and compliance guidelines and ensures knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements to appropriately respond to sales inquiries, disseminate scientific information and report Adverse Events (AEs) and Product Quality Complaints (PQCs)
  • Conducts office visits to establish, develop and maintain successful business partnerships with targeted health care providers (HCPs) and staffs within assigned geographical territory; Increases awareness through appropriate scientific information and educational programs to medical professionals
  • Collaborates closely with RSM to establish/execute a specific and integrated action plan for assigned region in order to achieve defined territory and sales goals; Clearly understands and implements sales and marketing strategies/plans to obtain sales objectives for assigned products; Assists in market development efforts and identifying new prescriber opportunities
  • Supports product promotion activities for company portfolio of branded products and delivers approved messaging and materials with professionalism, accuracy and compliance; Documents all field activity in Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) and manages territory metrics, as required; Attends team meetings, training sessions, and ride-alongs for ongoing development
