About The Position

The Associate Researcher is an entry-level laboratory research position that conducts routine and standardized experiments using techniques specific to an assigned research project. The role works under the supervision of a Principal Investigator or senior researcher, assists with interpretation of research outcomes, and may provide laboratory and clerical support.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of research or laboratory experience.
• A bachelor's degree in science or a related field is preferred, or a combination of relevant research experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, conducts routine and standardized experiments using research techniques appropriate to the subject matter of the project.
• Analyzes laboratory results and assists in interpreting them.
• Performs assays to support research studies.
• Maintains the laboratory environment and assists with inventory upkeep, which may include ordering supplies.
• Logs and tests samples; prepares and submits laboratory materials and specimens for shipment.
• Assists with collecting, analyzing, and reviewing experimental data for publication and presentation.
• Performs other related duties.
