Responsibilities

  • Sustain and continuously improve various mechanical components for equipment and tools.
  • Ensure the safe and effective operations of the organization's production.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage reliability engineering projects.
  • Perform analytical verification.
  • Evaluate, test, and track results of reliability interventions.
  • Initiate reporting for internal or third-party reported incidents.
  • Create, document, and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Prepare routine reports and memos.
  • Coordinate communications across all necessary functional groups of the organization.
  • Analyze condition monitoring data to determine equipment performance trends.
  • Troubleshoot rotating equipment problems.
  • Assist in conducting root cause analysis to determine targeted corrective actions to reduce or eliminate "bad actors" or chronically underperforming or failure-prone equipment.
  • Identify value-added opportunities to close performance gaps and improve mean time between repairs (MTBR).
  • Promote a safe work environment by providing engineering support to safety programs.
  • Participate in reliability or equipment-related incident investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with Process Safety Management Mechanical Integrity for rotating equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement projects.
  • Support critical spare parts program (DKL).
