About The Position

As an Associate Relationship Banker in a Chase branch, you represent the Chase brand and culture by creating welcoming, memorable experiences for clients. You use banking knowledge, financial technology, and attentive service to assist clients who visit or contact the branch, understand their financial needs, and offer thoughtful solutions that contribute to the success of the branch.

The role involves helping clients use banking products and digital tools, learning products and procedures, and connecting clients with specialists when their needs require additional expertise. You must follow applicable policies, procedures, risk controls, and regulatory banking requirements. The position is subject to Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators and requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Continued employment is contingent on meeting those requirements, including successful registration after starting and timely annual renewals and updates.

Requirements

• Ability to create memorable client experiences and elevate the client experience.
• Excellent in-person and telephone communication skills, including the ability to tailor product and service features and benefits to clients with differing needs.
• Ability to resolve client issues quickly and effectively with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate within established risk parameters and meet internal and external risk and compliance obligations, including completing required training.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
• Meet Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators; employment is contingent on JPMorgan Chase's review of relevant background and financial information.
• NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008, with successful registration immediately after starting and timely completion of annual renewals and required updates.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of sales experience in retail, financial services, or a related industry, with success establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
• College degree or military equivalent.
• Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, friendly service and create a welcoming environment for clients.
• Communicate clearly, politely, and consultatively; ask questions and listen to understand and anticipate client needs.
• Assist walk-in and scheduled clients in person and over the phone, build relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Educate clients about and connect them to digital banking solutions, including the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to consult with clients about banking solutions.
• Collaborate with and connect clients to team experts for specialized financial needs.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
