About The Position

Carvana is seeking an Associate Recruiter for its Operations Talent team. This role will provide professional recruitment services to ensure the operations department meets its staffing needs and that candidates have a positive hiring experience. The Associate Recruiter will manage the full-cycle recruitment process for various sites across the country, focusing primarily on entry-level to skilled positions. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and understanding their hiring needs is crucial for success in this role. The position offers the opportunity to see immediate, tangible impacts in an exciting and unique company environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of full cycle and high-volume recruiting experience.
  • Experience using recruiting applications and creative methods to source qualified candidates (Greenhouse and Tenstreet ATS experience preferred).
  • Experience working with hiring managers and exploring sourcing strategies to match team needs.
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Comfort with change and ability to adapt easily.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodations for disabilities.

  • Experience recruiting for automotive, logistics, or customer service industries.

Responsibilities

  • Source candidates through various methods including social media, Indeed, and the Carvana website.
  • Conduct in-depth screenings and phone interviews.
  • Provide resumes and screening notes to hiring managers for interviews.
  • Conduct talent/skills, role-fit, and culture-fit assessments.
  • Manage candidate expectations regarding the background check process, ensuring smooth processing for successful hires.
  • Develop hiring leader relationships and a strong understanding of the Operations team(s) business and gaps.
  • Assist in creating effective hiring strategies.
  • Focus on achieving a high conversion rate from interview to offer.
  • Contribute to building a stronger company every day.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
