About The Position

This is a full-time recruiting role shared across two Early Childhood sister companies, ECE Subhub and Heartfelt Impressions. The role involves finding, screening, and guiding candidates from application through placement. It is a hybrid role, requiring at least half of the week in the office to stay connected with both teams. This position serves as an entry point into recruiting, offering close collaboration with the HR team and opportunities to learn the recruiting process and the early childhood field. It is suitable for individuals who are organized, enjoy working with people, and seek opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

Strong organization and follow-through skills.
Comfort with phone and written communication.
Clear communication abilities.
Attention to detail, particularly with records and compliance.
Interest in recruiting and the early childhood field.
Ability to manage multiple candidates and tasks simultaneously across two companies.

Nice To Haves

Recruiting experience is preferred but not required.
Experience in customer service, childcare, education, or any people-facing role is a plus.

Responsibilities

Source candidates through job boards, referrals, and the applicant system for substitutes (ECE Subhub) and classroom staff (Heartfelt Impressions).
Review applications and screen candidates for qualifications and fit.
Conduct phone screens and virtual interviews.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records from initial contact through placement.
Coordinate background checks, references, and Michigan childcare clearances.
Provide candidates with clear and timely updates throughout the process.
Track candidate pipelines across both organizations and identify any stalled processes.
Hand off cleared candidates for onboarding and ensure the process continues smoothly.
