Associate Quality Inspector
About The Position
Boeing Distribution, Inc. Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Associate Quality Inspector to join our team in Wichita, KS. This role involves verifying routine product conformance to design requirements, providing objective evidence of results, and segregating and controlling non-conforming items. The Associate Quality Inspector will perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance. Under limited supervision, they will inspect incoming parts/material, outgoing orders, verify certification accuracy, check parts for processing, and handle special orders. Daily use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, gauge controls, and calipers is expected. The position also includes providing mentorship to the Inspection team, conducting dimensional and visual inspections, and reviewing certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards. Communication with vendors and disposition/control of non-conforming products are also key responsibilities.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ related work experience using of calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator
- 2+ years’ experience in QA inspection methods and procedures
- reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints
- Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)
- This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam
- To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

- Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards
