Associate Quality Engineer
About The Position
Boeing Distribution, Inc. is seeking an Associate Quality Engineer to join their team in Hialeah, FL. This role is responsible for meeting and exceeding customer quality metrics to maintain customer preferred supplier status. The position involves conducting customer quality reviews, leading technical calls with suppliers, and collaborating internally with supply chain and externally with customers on supplier management work transfer processes. The Associate Quality Engineer will drive root cause corrective actions (RCCA) with customers, suppliers, and the internal BDSI organization, address non-conforming events, and work with customers on RMA products, submitting documents for MRB approval. Additionally, the role includes writing quality plans for customer products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering or related field of study
- 2 - 4 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience
- 1+ years of experience with execution of root cause corrective actions (RCCA)
- Intermediate or higher proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)
- Must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
