About The Position
Perform hands-on testing activities, including test creation and process support within a given functional area, to support the delivery of quality solutions by automating tests and/or creating/enhancing automation frameworks. The Associate Quality Engineer - Java/Python focuses on developing integrations, applications, managing production issues, and leveraging AI coding tools to write tests, with an experience of 0 to 3 years.
Requirements
- Recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technology program or having an experience of 0 to 3 years.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
- Demonstrated ability to code in at least one of Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with API, SQL/NoSQL databases, Git, Jira, Confluence, and Cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) would be considered as an asset.
Responsibilities
- Actively write, modify, test, and debug code for applications (Java/Python) following SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop integrations with other platforms and maintain existing systems.
- Leverage AI coding tools to assist in writing code and functional tests.
- Participate in incident resolution and provide technical support during testing and post-production.
- Work within Agile teams alongside Developers, BAs, and business stakeholders.
