About The Position

This position is designed for early-career engineers who are motivated to learn, develop technical expertise, and build a strong foundation in quality engineering. You will work in a high-purity cleanroom manufacturing environment alongside experienced engineers and operators, gaining hands-on exposure to real-world quality challenges. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering; Master’s degree in Quality Assurance preferred.
  • Approximately 1 year of experience in quality engineering, preferably within semiconductor, aerospace, or other high-tech manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on experience using Lean tools and basic project planning methodologies.
  • Exposure to SPC, sampling plans, control plan development, PFMEA, root cause analysis, capability studies, and corrective and preventive action activities.
  • Exposure to manufacturing or process environments with interest in understanding how processes are scaled and controlled in high-purity applications.
  • Familiarity with ISO-based quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) through coursework, internships, or early career roles; deeper expertise will be developed on the job.
  • Willingness to learn inspection equipment usage, cleanroom protocols, and quality documentation systems.
  • Developing project and time-management skills with guidance from senior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Quality: Support internal and customer complaint investigations under the guidance of senior quality engineers. Assist with data collection, documentation, and root cause analysis. Contribute to clear and effective communication of findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Operations Development: Support equipment qualification and process scale-up activities for industrial manufacturing processes. Participate in process development initiatives to ensure quality requirements are met as operations expand.
  • Internal Quality: Participate early in new product development and new customer order activities. Ensure customer and product quality requirements are effectively translated into manufacturing operations through control plans, PFMEA, and related quality tools.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively recommend and assist in implementing data-driven improvements to manufacturing processes. Focus on reducing scrap, improving yield, and enhancing production efficiency.
