Associate Quality Control Chemist (Laboratory)
About The Position
The Associate Quality Control Chemist evaluates products according to established protocols, provides technical support, and performs operations in support of the group and department. The role reviews stock suitability data in accordance with quality management system guidelines, maintains and supports general quality review functions, and identifies opportunities for quality improvement while complying with the Quality Management System. The chemist communicates with relevant management and departments to support customer-focused excellence and prioritizes responsibilities in alignment with established department goals. This role does not offer work authorization sponsorship. External applicants must be eligible to work in the United States. The stated pay range is $27.00–$46.00 per hour; actual compensation depends on factors such as location, experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. The position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Company benefits include health insurance, paid time off, retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or another life science discipline.
- At least 1 year of laboratory or quality review experience.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or another life science discipline.
- Experience computing chemical calculations and conversions.
- Database software management skills.
- Experience with safe chemical handling practices.
- Experience understanding data integrity.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
