About The Position

CentraCare is hiring an Associate Psychotherapist to provide services in its Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The role includes conducting diagnostic, psychological, or biopsychosocial evaluations and carrying out therapeutic treatment toward defined goals. The psychotherapist helps clients strengthen motivation and commitment to specific change goals through collaborative, goal-oriented communication, motivational interviewing, and evidence-based psychotherapy. The Adult PHP provides intensive behavioral health treatment and symptom stabilization to adults age 18 and older in an outpatient setting. The IOP offers structured outpatient mental health treatment through group therapy, education groups, and coping-skills groups, providing a more intensive group treatment modality than individual therapy alone. The position works as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team alongside psychiatry, psychotherapists, a recreation therapist, and program facilitators. This is a full-time, onsite position at CentraCare Plaza in St. Cloud, Minnesota, scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for 80 hours every two weeks. Associate Psychotherapist starting pay begins at $81,387.66 per year, with the exact wage determined by years of related experience. The listed salary range is $73,112.00 to $109,699.20 per year, based on 1.0 FTE; reduced FTE results in a prorated offer rate. Full-time benefits include medical and dental coverage, PTO, retirement, employee discounts, and more. A $6,000 hiring bonus is described for candidates hired into the Psychotherapist role with a current Minnesota LP, LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC license; bonus eligibility conditions apply.
