This role involves constructing engineering samples and prototypes according to specifications and requirements, with guidance from the Engineering team. The technician will assist in organizing engineering build notes and documentation from prototype builds, and support Engineers in creating build documentation. A key aspect of the role is providing feedback to design engineers through post-build reviews, design reviews, and documentation reviews. The technician will also support initial production builds and the transition from engineering to production, assemble component parts as per print, and utilize both manual and automatic machine operations. Inspection of parts and assemblies for conformance to specifications, completion of Device History Records and other manufacturing documentation per Good Documented Practices (GDP), and identification and escalation of quality non-conformances are also required. The role includes setting up equipment for assembly/inspection and participating in team activities focused on process/product improvement, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction.
