About The Position

Fox News Media is hiring an Associate Project Manager for its Media Production Group. This full-time, in-office position is based in New York City and manages graphics requests across Fox News Media platforms, including Fox News Channel, Fox Business, Fox Nation, and Fox Weather. The role calls for an interest in editorial work, graphic design, and project coordination in a fast-paced news environment. The Associate Project Manager coordinates animation and graphics requests, supports studio blocking and rehearsals for launches and internal events, and helps guide and train production assistants. The position also sources imagery and video, distributes programming-related graphical materials across company properties, coordinates requests from corporate partners, supports breaking-news coverage, and maintains the group's planning calendar and shift handoffs. The role requires developing extensive knowledge of graphics workflows and style rules.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in broadcast or a related industry; news or sports experience is preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule in response to breaking news and the demands of a 24/7 operation, including occasional weekends.
Ability to work under pressure, take initiative, follow through on multiple tasks, and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
Highly responsive to department needs and external breaking news.
Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills.
Ability to make decisions without explicit direction.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge of news, entertainment, and politics, with solid editorial judgment.
Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Journalism, or Communications.
Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, iNews, and Dalet.
Knowledge of Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, After Effects, and Media Encoder.
Knowledge of VizRT or another real-time graphics system.

Responsibilities

Vet and assign animation requests for Fox News Media shows.
Coordinate with show units and control room teams to facilitate studio blocking and rehearsals for show launches and internal events.
Support the Media Production Unit manager by training and supervising production assistants.
Guide production assistants and show producers on solutions for daily graphics requests.
Source relevant imagery or video for animations and presentations.
Distribute key art, digital toolkits, TV listings, and other graphical elements associated with programming across Fox News Media properties.
Handle requests from corporate partners, including Executive Offices, Editing, Marketing, Promos, Sales, Digital, and Radio.
Support graphics production assistants and show producers during breaking news.
Update the Media Production Group planning calendar for editorial and production needs.
Ensure shift handoffs to reduce redundancy and improve communication.
Develop extensive knowledge of graphics workflows and style rules.
