About The Position

Michels Power, Inc. is hiring an Associate Project Manager to support project execution by planning, organizing, and implementing core project management principles. The role works closely with project teams and a Project Manager to monitor and achieve project scope, schedule, and budget goals while gaining firsthand experience with substation-specific work scopes. The position is based in Minnesota and requires travel, including long-term onsite project assignments and in-field support within the state.

Michels Power, Inc. is a power delivery contractor that performs electrical infrastructure work, including transmission lines, substations, distribution system modernization, oil and gas facilities, and renewable energy projects. The company also assists with power restoration and community rebuilding after natural disasters.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, field personnel, and customers.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow within the company by embracing evolving responsibilities and technical challenges.
• Ability to travel and commit to long-term onsite project assignments, including in-field support for projects in Minnesota.
