About The Position

Barge Design Solutions is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support our growing Mission Critical practice. This role generally serves in a technical capacity on projects but also executes project management activities under the direction of a Project Manager on single-discipline projects. This role does not have direct responsibility for projects nor does it maintain a Barge job sheet.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from accredited program.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience.
Applicable certification as required by discipline.
Attend and participate in PM training programs.
Strong technical credibility, strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage projects and deadlines.
This role indirectly leads a group of professionals technically through a project.

Responsibilities

Working with leadership and under the direction of a Project Manager to learn and implement proper PM procedures.
Collaborates with stakeholders on proposals to determine time, cost, & processes for accomplishing projects deliverables.
Collaborates with stakeholders to establish Project Management Plans and assemble teams.
Executing activities to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within defined time and established budget.
Functions as the technical lead on projects.
Reviews reports and findings. Makes recommendations for modification to project as needed.
Monitors budget against plan.
Prepares reports for management, client, or others.
Acts as liaison and builds relationships with client and project team participating in client meetings & leading internal project meetings.
Performs other duties as requested.
