About The Position

The Associate Project Manager supports the successful delivery of facilities management and commercial real estate projects by coordinating schedules, documentation, and stakeholder communication. The Associate Project Manager helps ensure projects meet client requirements, adhere to company standards, and incorporate best practices across all phases of project development and execution.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in project management or related roles within the real estate industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Project management experience in commercial real estate, including coordination of multiple stakeholders and timelines.
  • Experience with move management and furniture reconfigurations.
  • Understanding of construction processes and the commercial real estate industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to respond quickly to client and project needs, demonstrating reliability and accountability.
  • Self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Project management skills, including schedule adherence, quality control, and documentation management.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Change Management certification such as Prosci CCP or LaMarsh CMCP.
  • Experience working on facilities management, furniture, and reconfiguration projects.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills, particularly in managing inquiries and concerns.
  • Ability to incorporate industry best practices and standards into project workflows.
  • Comfort collaborating with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the project manager in overseeing all aspects of project development and execution, ensuring projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and organize project documentation, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Ensure projects comply with client requirements as well as company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Serve as the weekend point of contact for clients, responding promptly to inquiries and concerns related to facilities management projects, furniture projects, reconfigurations, and moves.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate activities and align project scope with overall project plans and objectives.
  • Participate in relevant meetings and field visits with stakeholders to review project progress, identify risks or issues, and support timely resolution.
  • Incorporate best practices and industry standards into project processes to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Respond quickly to emerging issues or changes, demonstrating strong organizational skills and proactive communication.
  • Support change management activities related to move management and furniture reconfigurations, where applicable.
