Associate Project Manager - Michels Underground Cable, Inc
About The Position
As an Associate Project Manager at Michels Underground Cable, Inc., you will work under direct supervision to support projects by planning, organizing, and implementing project management principles. You will develop an understanding of how the business operates, how changing circumstances are handled, and whom to contact with questions. The role requires strong verbal and written communication, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, meet deadlines, and anticipate and meet internal customer needs. You will assist with essential project duties, including cost and labor tracking, material submittals, subcontractor management, and contract compliance, to optimize performance and productivity and reduce costs. The position is based in various locations and requires travel.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in utilities, project management, and/or construction management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles that may be driven.
- An acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meet deadlines, and anticipate and meet internal customer needs.

- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
